Recommendations of the jury of the consensus conference on the interpretation and communication of neuropsychology scores (Paris, November 22, 2024)

The event was organized by the French-speaking Society of Neuropsychology (SNLF), the French Organization of Psychologists Specializing in Neuropsychology (OFPN), and the Cognitive Assessment Reflection Group (GRECO), in collaboration with researchers and clinicians from France, Belgium, and Switzerland. The recommendations outline key parameters to consider when determining thresholds for statistical significance. They propose standardized threshold scores for identifying extreme values in psychometric assessments, as well as descriptive terminology for characterizing these scores. The aim of these recommendations is to promote robust psychometric practices and to facilitate clearer communication among professionals and with patients.
