Abstract :
[en] Our study addresses the challenge of reducing both operational costs and the environmental impact of delivering letters and parcels in urban areas. We focus on selecting the right vehicle from electric vans, thermic engine vans, and cargo bikes, while also designing an effective delivery system. This system incorporates optimally located micro-depots that allow cargo bikes to reload parcels and take over deliveries for subsequent trips using a multi-trip delivery approach.
