Il faut rappeler que le diagnostic de cette maladie est d’abord clinique et repose sur l’écoute attentive du vécu du patient.
Vous trouverez aussi une lettre questionnaire que je demande aux patients de remplir en cas de suspicion de Long covid. En parallèle j’étudie leur dossier médical disponible sur le Eésau d’information santé belge.
L’objectif premier est de cerner la clinique du probleme de santé. Généralement les examens médicaux habituels sont négatifs ainsi que les biologies usuelles
Nous somme donc devant un ensemble de symptômes médicalement inexpliqués qui peuvent tout aussi bien être attribuables à d’autres problemes.
Mais enfin, si on est un peu habitué a son patient, on voit l’essentiel, cad un patient qui n’est plus apres un Covid aigu comme il était avant.
La profonde modification dans les suites d’un Covid avec entre autres asthénie majeure , epuisement à l’effort, vertiges ou allegies inconnues auparavant, céphalées irrepressibles, manifestation neurologiques inexpliquées doivent metre sur la piste d’un Long Covid.
