Abstract :
[en] An experimental determination of effective modal masses of a mechanical structure is proposed using environmental vibration tests on an electro-dynamic shaker. The method is based on the identification of electro-mechanical parameters of the electro-dynamic model of the shaker. An experimental example is presented to illustrate the proposed procedure.
