Taguchi Loss Function; Control Charts; Quality Performance
Abstract :
[en] This paper presents a control chart based on the Taguchi (1986)’s loss function for monitoring the performance of a process and its capability in monetary form. The proposed chart monitors the loss due to poor quality to the society. The proposed control chart also allows for simultaneously monitoring both changes of the mean and variance.
