Abstract :
To will, perchance to win).
[en] After having described the model (maximization of expected utility) on which is based the modern decision making theory, the author lists a series of obstacles that make difficult its application (nightmare), in particular in the nuclear debate. Then, he mentions in which respect one can be inspired by an on going real project managed according to these principles : Ward Edwards' contribution to a desegregation project in Los angeles. Then the author imagines (daydream) the eight steps of a solution to the nuclear debate via decision making with a strong democratic commitment (To will, perchance to win). Then he indicates ongoing real works (with similar theoretical inspirations) on the nuclear debate.
