Abstract :
[en] This paper provides a detailed overview of the rights and duties of both seller and buyer under the Vienna Sales Convention. It does so in the light not only of the text of the Convention but also of the emerging case law of various countries, which is reviewed and taken into account. The overview also attempts to contrast the rules of the Convention with the rules applicable in Belgian contract law.
