Abstract :
[en] Christophe Hanna and those involved—whether closely or distantly—in the cooperative circle of the "Questions théoriques" group propose something other than a mere shifting of the center of poetic diction or a slight alteration of its usual orientation. A shift or alteration implies moving one’s viewpoint from a central point to another, more or less peripheral one within the same configuration. Instead, the aim is to envision and bring about entirely different configurations—decentered ones—that are consequently far removed from and utterly unlike the prevailing setup. It also involves imagining an expandable repertoire of "poetic actions" to replace poetic "discourse." This article, which examines Christophe Hanna’s "Sociographies", proposes extending his theoretical and analytical model to the poetry of modernity.
