Abstract :
[en] This work presents DNS simulations of a wake generator to reproduce tests carried out by the von Karman Institute for Fluid Dynamics (VKI) in collaboration with Safran Aircraft Engines as part of the SPLEEN project. However, due to the difficult conditions encountered in this type of simulation, rather invasive stabilisation techniques had to be used to perform the calculations. In order to reduce the impact of stabilisation on subsequent simulations, this contribution aims to compare stabilisation strategies, in particular ESDGSEM, positivity preserving and AV, taking into account the topology of the flow around wake generators. The objective is to identify the trade-offs between accuracy, robustness, physical fidelity and computational efficiency, in order to provide guidance for the choice of stabilisation strategies in industrial simulations of compressible turbulent flows.
