Abstract :
[en] This study examines a corpus of educational resources on the environmental impact of digital devices, published on the e-classe website for the French-speaking Belgian educational community. The research evaluates how these materials foster learners’ digital media literacy. Our analysis, primarily diagnostic, shows that digital devices are presented mainly as technological tools (e.g., mathematical writing instruments, machines), whose impact is quantified to promote eco-friendly behavior, rather than as media (communication devices). Consequently, these resources incorporate little knowledge from information and communication sciences or media education. We discuss how integrating insights from these fields could enhance educational practices.
