Abstract :
[en] In mathematics, a q-deformation of an object (a theorem, a function, etc.) is a generalisation of the latter involving a new parameter q, and such that we get back the original object by letting q tend to 1. On the other hand, binomial coefficients of words are used to count the number of occurrences of scattered subwords in a given sequence.
