Abstract :
[es] En esta contribución, nos proponemos estudiar el lugar singular que ocupa Canción de tumba (2011), de Julián Herbert, dentro del corpus de los relatos de filiación hispanoamericanos a partir de una reflexión sobre la presencia de narradores no fiables en este tipo de literatura. Si bien Canción de tumba ya se distingue de muchos otros relatos de filiación por incorporar varios elementos que caracterizan a su narrador como no fiable, veremos que este texto va aún más lejos al llamar la atención del lector sobre esta condición de no fiabilidad. Para fundamentarlo, nos basaremos en las teorías de Theresa Heyd, Dominique Viart, Gérard Genette, Raphaël Baroni y Patricia Waugh. Para concluir este estudio, consideraremos las consecuencias que la elección de la no fiabilidad y su evocación frecuente generan en la obra, entre ellas su inscripción en lo que denominamos una “estética del desprestigio”. [en] In this contribution we propose to study the unique position that Julián Herbert’s Canción de tumba (2011) occupies within the corpus of Hispanic Ame-rican filiation narratives based on a consideration of the presence of unreliable narrators in this type of literature. If Canción de tumba already sets itself apart from many other filiation narratives by exhibiting several features that mark its narrator as unreliable, we will see that this text goes even further by drawing the reader’s attention to this condition of unreliability. To support this argument, we will consider the theories of Theresa Heyd, Dominique Viart, Gérard Genette, Raphaël Baroni and Patricia Waugh. To conclude this study, we will address the implications that the choice of unreliability and its frequent allusion generate in the novel, including its inscription within what we refer to as an “aesthetics of discredit”.
