Abstract :
[en] We have devised a new measurement method of the specific heat of high temperature superconductors, based on the ac-method of Sullivan and Seidel, but modified to be able to use it along a differential scheme. We briefly present the method. We use it to obtain data on Bi1.7Pb0.3Sr2Ca2Cu3 O10-δ. The specific heat data covers the temperature range 20-200K. We extract several key parameters, e.g. the critical temperature (106.5K), the Debye temperature (245K), the Sommerfeld constant (23 mJ. mole-1K-2), and the electron-phonon coupling constant (1.46 ßBCS). In a Table, we compare the parameters obtained for similar 2223Bi(Pb)SrCaCuO compounds. © 1994.
