Regional Building Inventory; Construction and Demolition Waste; GIS; Material Flow Assessment
Abstract :
[en] This study presents a novel framework designed to create a building inventory for estimating construction and demolition waste at a regional scale. Addressing the challenges posed by insufficient demolition statistics and incomplete high-resolution building data, the approach integrates various Geographical Information System (GIS) data. Meanwhile, we propose conducting a buffer and joint analysis and a sampling survey to verify the building types and discuss possible reasons for the gaps in the building data. Based on the spatial join analysis, the study demonstrates the potential of utilizing the built inventory to detect demolished buildings.
