Abstract :
[en] We introduce a dyadic decomposition of the wavelet transform type for compact Lie groups, allowing the study of Hölder regularity. We then adapt local and global Hölder spaces to the sphere in Euclidean space, while providing the tools to effectively examine the Hölder regularity for a function defined on the sphere.
