Abstract :
[en] The construction sector is both a major consumer of natural resources and a significant producer of waste. Recycling concrete into recycled concrete aggregates (RCA) offers a sustainable solution, but raises questions about the durability of the resulting materials. This thesis aims to develop numerical tools to predict carbonation in RCA-based concretes. A modeling approach, initially at the macroscopic scale and later extended to a multiscale framework, will be investigated. The ultimate goal is to provide reliable tools to assess the durability of this material and promote its integration into a more circular and sustainable construction industry.
