[en] This is the teaching material of a class on Energy communities taught by Prof. Damien ERNST at the ULiège. The lesson is organized as follows: I. Introduction to the mechanisms of electricity markets; II. Incentives for renewable energy development in Belgium (Wallonia); III. Breakdown of a residential electricity bill and the impact of self-production; IV. Analysis of peer-to-peer electricity exchange through a retailer’s platform; V. Analysis of the framework of energy communities and their different models.
