[en] This text is the fruit of long-term work on the contributions of hypnosis to alcohology, which led to the submission of a personal contribution as part of the certificate in alcohology jointly organized by the French-speaking universities of Liege, Brussels and Louvain and coordinated by the Royal Scientific Society of General Medicine of Belgium. The first part of the presentation is devoted to an epistemological and historical exploration of the different forms of hypnosis and hypnotherapy, as well as the paradigms relating to the notions of conscience and consciousness. In the second part, a review of the international scientific literature on the relationship between hypnosis and alcohology is presented chronologically. References concerning the specific contributions of hypnosis applications to tabacology, positive psychology and acceptance and commitment therapies are also discussed. The third part is devoted to the practical application of hypnosis in the field of alcohology. Various hypnotherapy supporting tools are presented, including motivational interviewing, behavioral therapies, symbolic therapy, the MBRP program, ACT and strategic therapies. A protocol for brief hypnotherapy in alcohology is proposed, as well as advanced symbolic therapy tools derived from Jungian analytical psychology.
