Abstract :
[en] This talk will assess the affordances and limits of the sublime for representing human-non-human relationships in Ernestine Hayes’ Blonde Indian (2006) and Ken Ilgunas’ Walden on Wheels (2013), which alternate between mobilizations of the natural sublime and the “haptic sublime” (McNee 2016) in their descriptions of the Alaskan landscape.
