[en] This contribution analyzes the different funding schemes provided by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) in order to preserve cultural heritage. It also examines the involvement of the private sector, which was directly advocated for in the World Heritage Convention of 1972.
