Abstract :
[fr] Le texte est un retour réflexif sur un travail clinique réalisé par une équipe, dont a fait partie
l’auteur, avec un enfant porteur d’autisme, Jonathan, en l’emmenant rencontrer
quotidiennement des dauphins captifs durant trois étés consécutifs. Ce travail ancien est
présenté à la lumière des écrits de Fernand Deligny, découverts longtemps après la fin du
projet, qui m’ont permis de l’envisager sous un jour nouveau et de formaliser ce qui
m’apparaissait jusqu’alors comme indicible. L’élément clé du travail avec Jonathan est identifié
comme l’aménagement, autour de l’enfant et avec lui, d’un environnement matériel,
relationnel et symbolique ayant pour particularités d’accepter l’incertitude et les narrations
multiples, de se retenir d’imposer un savoir a priori et de permettre ainsi à Jonathan de
prendre une place au sein de notre équipe. En s’appuyant sur les notes prises au cours du
projet et sur l’écho qu’en renvoie ma lecture des écrits de Deligny, le présent récit identifie les
traits saillants de ce travail, amenant à qualifier la manière d’agir avec Jonathan, « d’agir
ensemble dans le "non vouloir" », une manière d’agir qui tente d’éviter, autant que faire se
peut, les buts conscients.
[en] The text is a reflexive work on clinical care that was carried out by a team, to which the author
belonged, with a child with autism, Jonathan. For three consecutive summers, Jonathan was
taken to meet captive dolphins on a daily basis. This old work is presented anew in the light of
Fernand Deligny's writings, discovered long after the project was completed, which allowed me
to see it in a new light and to formalize what seemed to me until then to be unspeakable. The
key element of the work with Jonathan is identified as the development, around and with the
child, of a material, relational and symbolic environment whose particularities are to accept
uncertainty and multiple narratives, to refrain from imposing a priori knowledge and thus to
allow Jonathan to take a place within our team. Based on the notes taken during the project
and on the echo given by my reading of Deligny's writings, this narrative identifies the salient
features of this work, leading me to qualify the way of acting with Jonathan, "to act together in the 'unwilling'", a way of acting that tries to avoid, as much as possible, conscious purposes.
