[en] The BRAIN-TRAINS project deals with the possible development of rail freight intermodality in Belgium. The main goal of the project is to develop a blueprint establishing the detailed criteria and conditions for developing an innovative intermodal network in and through Belgium, as part of the Trans-European Transport Network and related to different market, society and policy-making challenges. The project will develop an operational framework in which effective intermodal transport can be successfully established in Belgium, with attention to beneficial participation and commitment of all different stakeholders.
