flux tube breaking mechanism for strong decays; finite size pion
Abstract :
[en] A single-flux-tube-breaking mechanism is generalized to three flux tubes and applied to the study of pion decay of non-strange resonances. the results given by a finite-extension flux tube are compared to those obtained previously from the naive quark-pair-creation model supported by the breaking of an infinite-extension flux tube. The role of the pion wave function and its size are also discussed.
