Abstract :
[en] This paper explores the role of photography in an ethnography conducted among Mexican artists and political activists in Belgium. It is argued that photography: was used as a tool to establish rapport; enabled migrants to diffuse their work; and stimulated self-reflection on the positionality of the ethnographer in the field.
