[en] The landscape, connected with human and natural interactions, remains a worn-out term, referring both to the subject and the object. It conveys an aesthetic value expressing the dominance of sight. It moves us away from the body of the landscape (water, air and soil) by the inibition of sensorial capacities. Sight and hearing override the other senses. The author recalls that touch is a powerful means of sensorial exploration of space which makes it possible for us to renew relationships with the environment and rediscover the meaning of itinerary and voyage.
