Abstract :
[en] An introduction to the theory of nonradial modes of oscillation is presented. Evidence for such pulsations can be found in numerous variable stars. New results are presented for stars varying with periods of the order or longer than the hour, namely Beta Cep stars, line-profile variable stars, and WR stars.
