Abstract :
[en] When forest management becomes more intensive the “unit area inventory” based upon sampling inside compartments is considered for giving in-place information about individual stand units and their specific treatment. Various methods are recommended in relation with the forest types: - samplings at the whole forest level, - stratified samplings (at the whole forest level), - individual samplings inside compartments (with predetermined scheme), - individual samplings inside compartments (left to judgment).
