A description of n-ary semigroups polynomial-derived from integral domains

We provide a complete classification of the n-ary semigroup structures defined by polynomial functions over infinite commutative integral domains with identity, thus generalizing Glazek and Gleichgewicht's classification of ternary semigroups.
