Abstract :
[en] The text presents a series of photographs of daily life in some gated cities of America, mainly dedicated to white old people. The idea defended within this presentation is that tomorrow's wolrd will see more and more often close cohabitation between very poor people and very (or rahter) rich ones, which will lead to more and more walls in our landscapes and cities. The title is inspired by Michael Walzer : "To tear down the walls of the state is not . . . to create a world without walls, but rather to create a thousand petty fortresses"
