Abstract :
[en] A major cause of errors in photometry is to be attributed to the color transformation. A thorough analysis of numerous observing runs carried out in the Stromgren system shows how reliable are the transformations in the different indices. Conclusions are drawn about the reduction methods, the validity of homogenization procedures, and the choice of the standard stars which define the system.
