Considerations regarding interstellar molecules

[en] An attempt has been made to compute the numbers of certain molecules in interstellar space. The results obtained are unfavorable to Saha's identification of one of Merrill's interstellar lines with Na2. A search for the bands of CH, OH, NH, CN, and C2 would appear to be promising.
