Abstract :
[en] Preliminary data on a new method for extracting data from the kinetic energy release distribution of metastable fragment ions are presented. This method can give information concerning the energy threshold of the reaction and the energy dependence of the rate constant (i.e. its logarithmic derivative). It was applied to bromine loss from bromobenzene cations.
