Abstract :	[en] Patients with soft-tissue tumours usually consult for a mass at the level of an extremity or the torso. This article aims to help the general practitioner and the general surgeon in the standardized setup of these tumours. The epidemiology, clinical presentation and evaluation as well as the useful exams to be performed, including biopsy, are developped, in order to obtain rational principles for the diagnostic setup and surgical decision-making.
