Abstract :
[en] Bulls were implanted with an ear pellet of trenbolone acetate and oestradiol in association. Some treated bulls produced a sperm without spermatozoa but there were no significant differences in spermatozoa concentration and sperm quality between treated animals which produced a sperm with spermatozoa and control bulls. The scrotal circumference of the treated animals did not change over the experimental period while that of control bulls regularly increased. After a dynamic stimuation with luteinzing hormone releasing hormone, the luteinizing hormone concentrations did not change in the treated animals and the testosterone kinetic profiles were characterized by a low basal concentration and small peak heights. The microscopic evaluation of the testicles indicated a reduction in the percentage of seminiferous tubules with mature spermatozoa and a reduction in the number of Leydig cells in the islets.
[fr] De jeunes torillons en croissance-engraissement ont été implantés avec de pellets contenant une association d'acétate de trenbolone et d'oestradiol. Certains taureaux traités ont produit un sperme qui ne contenait pas de spermatozoïde mais aucune différence significative n'a été observée au niveau de la concentraion en spermatozoïdes et la qualité du sperme entre les animaux non traités et les animaux traités qui ont produit un éjaculat contenant des spermatozoïdes. La circonférence scrotale des animaux anabolisés n'a pas augmenté au cours de l'expérience. Un test de stimulation dynamique a été effectué avec de la luteinizing hormone releasing hormone; chez les taureaux anabolisés, la concentration en luteinzing hormone n'a pas été modifiée et les profils en testostérone ont été caractérisés par une faible concentration basale et des pics de petite amplitude. L'examen microscopique des testicules a montré une réduction dans la proportion des tubes séminifères des spermatozoïdes et une réduction du nombre de cellules de Leydig.
[de] Junge Bullen (Blaue Belgier) erhielten ein Ohrimplantat mit Trenbolon-Acetat (TBA) und 17B Oestradiol. Einige der behandelten Tiere produzierten ein Ejakulat ohne Spermatozoen, andere Bullen proudzierten bei gleicher Behandlung dagegen ein Ejakulat dab sich nicht von dem der Kontrollbullen unterschied. Das skrotale Zirkumferenz der behandelten Tiere veräderte sich nicht im Vergleich zu den unbehandelten Bullen, bei denen es sich regulär vergröberte. Nach Stimulation mit LHRH veränderte sich die LH-Konzentration bei den implantiereten Tieren nicht, die Testosteron-Profile ziegten eine niedrige basale Konzentration mit geringfügig erhöhten Peaks. Eine mikroskopische Untersuchung der Hoden ziegte einen geringeren prozentualen Anteil an Samenkälchen mit reifen Spermatozoen und eine Verringerung von Leydigschen Zellen.
