[en] A case of a cystic calculus in a mare and the pathophysiology of urolithiasis are described. In this case a 268 g calculus measuring 9 x 6 cm was removed after urethro-sphincterotomy was performed on the standing mare. [fr] Les calculs vésicaux sont principalement observés chez le mâle. Un cas de calculose vésicale chez une jument, son traitement et les mécanismes de formation des calculs urinaires chez le cheval sont décrits. Le passage du calcul par l’urètre n’étant pas possible, il est extrait après urétro-sphincterotomie. La chirurgie est réalisée sur jument debout. Le calcul mesure 9 cm x 6 cm et pèse 268 g.
