Abstract :
[en] SuSceMod is a Python package for modelling urban growth scenarios based on spatial planning policies. It uses machine learning algorithm of MultiNomial Logistic regression (MNL). It couples the Cellular Automata (CA) algorithm for neighbourhood interaction. The package helps to analyse, calibrate and simulate futuristic urban expansion and densification scenarios to better understand sustainable urban development goals.
