Abstract :
[en] This article offers a semiotic analysis of the enunciative shift in the Centre Pompidou’s
Instagram profile, focusing on the reposting of images produced by its visitors. It compares
two periods: the use of the hashtag #LeCentrePompidouVuParVous (2018–2021), which
primarily featured photos of the museum building, and #LeCentrePompidou (2021–2025),
which prioritizes portraits and visitors’ facial and bodily expressions. Drawing on the works
of Verón, Floch, Dondero, and Basso Fossali to examine photographic circulation and status
shifts, the article proposes a methodological framework for analyzing Instagram profiles and
publications, while reflecting on how museums appropriate user-generated images to
reconfigure their institutional identity and relationships with both audiences and visitors.
