Abstract :
[en] Among the bilingual Virgilian glossaries preserved on papyrus, PSI VII 756 (CLTP IV.10) stands out as the only one, among the glossaries providing only excerpta (P. Oxy VIII 1099 [CLTP V.14], P. Vindob. Inv. L 24 [CLTP V.15] and, partially (Book IV), P. Colt 1 [CLTP V.6]) rather than a continuous text, that offers excerpts from Book II of the Aeneid. The principle of selection of the glosses is questioned, with particular attention to the verbal forms. The papyrus contains several conjugated forms and some nominal forms. Especially interesting are the cases in which the two languages do not have exact equivalents. The observations, which will be compared with other witnesses of the same type, will make it possible to better understand the glossator’s methodology and aims.
