Abstract :
[en] Well preserved compressions from the Middle Devonian of Belgium allow a detailed study of the fructification of Protopteridium Krejčí 1880 here recognized as a nomen nudum and transferred to Milleria LANG 1926. New information is given on the fertile branching system, the construction of the fertile organ, the insertion of the sporangia and their spores, the type of leaf and the assumed vegetative branching system. The validity of the species of Milleria is reconsidered and the taxonomic position of the genus discussed.
