Abstract :
[en] Drawing on Honneth's theory of recognition, this article examines the notion of benevolence in school settings where different languages are spoken as a form of relationship with otherness. It attempts to compare diverse school situations (education for pupils known as allophone in French-speaking Belgium, French schools abroad) and also mentions in conclusion the language training of adult migrants in order to highlight a segregation of the students, through benevolence.
