Abstract :
[en] The vocabulary of the Law and of the Politics is strongly present in Mallarmé’s writing, both on the prose side and on the poetry side. A poetics and a policy of the Law are drawn through the work, which stems from a rhetoric and a mindset attentive to formalities and institutions. Mallarmé leads, with his own poetic means, a fundamental reflection on the forms of social organization and the great institution of the republican state. Prudent anarchist, according to Sartre’s word, the poet thus appears – perhaps under the influence of Montesquieu – as a radical constructivist, wishing that the minority artist should be entrusted with the task of guaranteeing the Fiction of the State.
