[en] Presentation of The International Liquid Mirror Telescope (ILMT), constructed and financed by Belgium, Canada and India located at the Devasthal Observatory in Uttarakhand, India, is currently the world's largest liquid mirror telescope. Inaugurated in March 2023, this 4-meter diameter telescope uses a rotating bowl of liquid mercury to form a parabolic reflecting surface, designed for high-efficiency astronomical surveys.
