Abstract :
[en] This chapter proposes a strategic framework for urban and territorial transformation based on adaptive reuse rather than demolition. Drawing on the Trans Europe Halles (TEH) network, it positions independent cultural centres as operational prototypes of a new project paradigm, aligned with the European Green Deal and the New European Bauhaus. The core strategy consists in considering the existing built environment as a renewable resource, mobilising reuse, incremental adaptation, and cultural activation to generate structural socio-spatial change.
