[en] Derbicoat NT is an underlayer vapour barrier, which can be assembled with a Derbigum NT membrane (described in another B-EPD), or under an insulation layer.
Derbicoat NT is a bituminous base sheet that contains DERBITUMEN, a raw material that is acquired by recycling cutting losses and old bituminous roofing membranes. Derbicoat NT has a glass/polyester reinforcement that gives the membrane a high tear resistance. They are used in buildings to provide a vapour barrier on masonry roofs.
The reference product has a thickness of 2.5 mm (Derbicoat NT 2.5 – noted DC2.5). The alternative thickness is 3 mm (Derbicoat NT3 – noted DC3).
