Abstract :
[en] The reuse of construction materials can only be guaranteed when buildings are both designed to be disassembled and supported by reliable documentation. Using the example of ‘t Centrum (Kamp C), this contribution shows how Design for Disassembly and Adaptability (DfD/A) and the BIM-based Material Passport (MP) put these eco-design principles into practice, paving the way for a concrete implementation of circularity in the construction sector.
