[en] One of the goals of LIFE Carbon farming is to motivate the uptake of carbon farming practices by the incentive of a financial scheme. To do so, the cost and benefits of carbon action plans must be evaluated. The project is implementing action plans for 700 mixed crop livestock farms across Europe. Each farm does an environmental evaluation. An action plan is built with farmers to identify the different levers relevant for their farm. Technical, environmental, and economic impacts are evaluated. For the latter indicator, direct costs and investments are considered.
