Active Distribution Networks; Voltage Control; Flexibility Aggregation
Abstract :
[en] This paper presents a bilevel control framework for voltage management in distribution networks. By leveraging explicit multiparametric optimization, the approach aggregates all local assets' active and reactive power flexibility into a single flexibility chart. Augmented with user-defined pricing information, this aggregated flexibility is communicated to a central controller responsible for maintaining adequate voltage levels within the network at minimal cost. The paper also suggests a method to disaggregate setpoints received from the central controller among local assets. By aggregating pricing information and individual capability charts, this approach preserves the privacy of local prosumers. We validate this method on a low-voltage network of 44-buses by comparing it with traditional techniques.
