Abstract :
[en] Academic writing is an essential competence at the postgraduate level due to its impact on communication, formulations, scholarship awards, evaluation processes, and assigning resources. Acquiring the skills to produce quality communication in a timely manner is a difficult task. Therefore, this chapter presents validated tools to support young researchers as they develop the necessary skills. The tools presented in this research were identified through a systematic review examining the various academic writing tools available to postgraduate students to enhance their writing process. The review aims to identify and evaluate the effectiveness of these tools in improving writing skills, productivity, and the overall quality of academic writing. A comprehensive search of electronic databases was conducted, and relevant studies published between 2010 and 2023 were included. The results highlight a range of tools, including writing software, reference managers, grammar checkers, plagiarism detectors, and productivity apps. Tools were classified into strategies, techniques, and resources. The findings provide insights into the benefits and limitations of these tools, as well as their impact on postgraduate students’ academic writing experiences. Recommendations for future research and practical implications for supporting postgraduate students in their writing endeavors are also discussed.
