Abstract :
[en] This study is part of a geo-critical approach that suggests considering the literary representations of spaces at the intersection of multiple perspectives, varying the sociological profiles of the characters or agents observing this place. We propose a case study of the novels by Rutlidge, Balzac, and Barbey d’Aurevilly, where, for aesthetic or ideological reasons, the characters’ vision of Faubourg Saint-Germain, a Parisian spatial society, is deliberately blurred.
