Abstract :
[en] We use the notion of textual motif [TM] to investigate the recurrence of the structure [est aliquid + subject infinitive clause] in Ovid’s work. We show that this is a typically Ovidian TM, which the author uses more specifically in his epistolary works. We also show that this TM always implies an enunciative posture on the part of the speaking subject, constructed as a function of the relationship he maintains with his interlocutor.
